20 Scientologists vs 3 Anonymous

We recieved a tip off that the Co$ were recruiting in Brixton. 3 of us investigated. We were very lucky- we met some police at Brixton station and were able to explain why we were there before the Scilons could start bawwwing.

We handed out flyers and yelled to members of the public. Scientologists were sent to intercept us, counter flyer and at one point tried to argue with us. They failed.

They were scheduled to stay until 10pm but left less than an hour after we arrived. After they left we went to a nearby pub, hung around for a while and returned to see if they were back- they were not.

The residents of Brixton were receptive and very plesant towards us. One lady told us that her church group had been involved in an arguement with the scientologists the previous day.

We are happy to assist anyone who wishes to keep their neighbourhood free of this cult and will be sharing information with a local group interested in setting up a counter picket.

So a big win for Brixton, and a big win for Anonymous :)

@sphincter1717 I don't think you understand exactly why anonymous is attacking scientology, they're doing it because the IRS gives them our tax money, and they take away about 40k from they're members over something that isn't true. It isn't a religion, it's a way that high members of the religion can make money.

Its funny how the scientology people are driven crazy about this ..... you cant sue a group with no leader. You cant harras people if you dont know who they are. you cant stop anonymous ... and those fuckers have cake too? anonymous is unstopable :)

@stoshd I hate anonymous but I'll have to agree with most of what you're saying. I will have to disagree with the "you can't harass* people" bit.

If you got a mask on, and you call yourself as part of the anonymous super-conscious, anyone can assume you to be the same as any other part of the anonymous super-conscious.

For instance, if I my computer was hacked by an anon, my key files destroyed, and I saw another anon on the street, I'm gonna break his ass.

@260Studios of course it had its share of horrible leaders like caligula and Nero. But it had some of the greatest rulers of all time like Agustus and Constantine. But alas Anarchy seems more attractive of a option so i will throw in my support with Anonymous. I do love Guy Fawkes's story anyway

@260Studios To say the government the government is like the templars is insulting really. The current US government is more like a petty tyranny nothing like the scale of the Templars. And for another thing order through deception and control of the masses isnt such a bad thing. The average citizen is a idiot who is usually only concerned about their own selfish goals. @sphincter1717 Not all members of Anonymous are anti-scientology!!! :3 !!! The "organization" has no leader, no rules, nothing. Its a massive, very loose collective of people around the world, who all protest against many different things!!! I'm not sure if that's what you were thinking, but mostly this was just to anyone who isn't quite sure what Anonymous izz. :p

If hate is considered a crime, we are no longer a free country. Hate, as crazy as it may sound to most people, is freedom of speech and you will not limit freedom of speech. Does this mean that I think hate is a good thing? No. But if you cannot tolerate hate, it goes against the 1st amendment.
