everyone, this guy is right, and i am a mini lover. this is a 2003 cvt automatic mini cooper. i have one. my transmission just shot after 34,000 miles ?!? believe me, its not me, its the fucking car. now im stuck with a broke down mini cooper. tell people not to get the cvt, get an s, or dont get one at all.

Do you mean the kick-down button? I have it on my vw so if it also exists on mini I certanly checked for it (but it happened 2 years ago, I don't remember now).
