ATTENTION! Please note that my new page, entitled ANOTHERWORLDlover, has clips of "Another World". In the future the new page will be the one that is updated with clips of the show. Having a separate page for the show will be beneficial for easier organization, distribution and access. So please subscribe to ANOTHERWORLDlover. The eps uploaded on EDSTER73 are already included on ANOTHERWORLDlover. In about a month (today is 10-06-08), I'll be deleting the clips from Edster73 so only ANOTHERWORLDlover will have them. If you want your comments preserved, then please copy and paste them onto the new page. Thanks. Please spread the word!

ANOTHER WORLD: Frankie Dies (Stalker Storyline) Pt. 32

The firing of AW alumni Alice Barrett was a sad and devastating blow to the fans of "Another World" for it set in motion the decision to kill off the character that she had portrayed for seven years: the beloved Frankie Frame.

Though brilliantly performed, the storyline is infamous for the controversy it sparked among the show's fans and the soap's executives as well as for the grisly violent way in which the character was murdered. The show never recovered from the loss of Frankie who, in many ways, represented the heart of the show.

In Part 32, Donna pays a Sharlene a visit.

Josie is starting to regain consciousness and starts saying Gary's name.

John and Michael try to devise a way to find Josie. Michael is willing to do whatever it takes to find her.

Sharlene reluctantly lets Donna inside. She proves to actually a big source of consolation to her. She too knows what it's like to be worried about a daughter, given Vicky's tumultuous history. She tells Sharlene that she is certain Frankie's spirit is protecting Josie. Sharlene weeps appreciatively in Donna's arms, knowing that Donna has been there. Cass arrives and when asked how he is, he says that knowing that the man who killed Frankie is dead isn't nearly as satisfying as he thought it would be. Sharlene asks for a ride to the police station. Donna offers to take her but Cass insists he go since he needs to see this whole thing through.

Vicky, while proud of Jake's accomplishment, is still feeling the sting of losing Frankie to the stalker. Jake wonders why she is upset. She tells him that Fax killing all of those women is a waste. Jake admits his awareness that Vicky could've been one of the victims since she had the chain. Vicky wonders why the police didn't make the connection with Fax and the necklace sooner. Jake insists it's still a great article and coup for his paper. Bobby Reno (or is it Shane Roberts? I really don't care!) chimes in about a spelling mistake. Jake dismisses him and leaves for the paper.

Jake and the paper crew are celebrating Chris' achievement with the article on the stalker. Chris arrives and says he wants a raise. While Jake and Chris chat about it, Matt reminds them that the story is not officially over until Josie is found.

Sharlene and Cass arrive at the police station and Sharlene yells at Gary out of frustration. Sharlene apologizes and tells him that she doesn't blame him. Gary responds that he blames himself.

In the sewer, Josie is still regaining consciousness, coughing from the damp surroundings.
