Hi I just purchased this camera. But after shooting a test, my quality does NOT look like yours. CAN YOU PLEASE tell me what settings you used to film this test shot? @sunshine5555551 30FPS MXP manual focus, and 1.8f. White balance is big too, but per scene.

@Googleinc2 - Thank you! I bought the camera. I an still a novice! What do you think of auto focus? Can I use it with the same dimensions you mentioned above???? Any other tips would be great... Happy holiday!

@sunshine5555551 Auto-focus can only take you so far. Manual is nice if the camera is reletively still. Also, the auto-focus only works up till a point, when you get too close, you *will* need manual focus.

@Googleinc2 - One more question: When you produced the final video above... Which settings did you use? MPEG 4? Mpeg 2??? Or did you upload it straight from camera to youtube?

@sunshine5555551 Encoded with H.264/MP4 at around 40-50Mbps. File was a few gigs.
