Pssht. 24 degrees Celsius is nothing (its like 74 degrees Fahrenheit). Here in Michigan its regularly about 85 Fahrenheit or more with like 90% humidity. Terrible getting started and terrible whenever you have to stop.

You have to be more specific when saying "British accent". There are many different accents in Britain.

I think it's that we're used to Doctor Who or some angry guy on TV representing British accents, and Australians are represented by Steve Irwin. It's like no one knows who Eric Bana is here. Maybe the less strong the accent is, the easier it is to get them mixed up. I suppose the hardest ones to mix up are American and British accents. With soft enough accents, any of the other combinations could get mixed.
