I worked for a company that flew the last passenger carrying Caravelle in the US circa 1978-1984 Now parked at Van Nuys N98KT. United Airlines had a few before the B727 came along. Great plane and a show stopper at every FBO we stopped at. . Still some Caravelles in the EU and SA running freight. The RR Avons were not very fuel effecient to say the least let alone noisy. You knew we were there !
