  • this is beautiful, fascinating stuff, but i am not familiar with it--has adrian belew stepped out of the picture by this point? no vocals...

i like it--i am not familiar with contemporary prog-rock, and maybe i should give it a chance.

i have been told that tool is probably too "hard" for my taste, but i will check them out.

    thanks for posting...

  • @derek4ur

No problem. Tool is kind of prog rock/metal band highly influenced by King Crimson. Basicly it's heavier, but not heavier than Thrak whichis really rough. You should check Tool, really great band.

  • @gab136 i just listened to Tool's "Vicarious." it is a masterpiece, and an important message--those guys aren't fucking around.

  • @derek4ur

Yeah and they giving really grewat peformances. Just watch some live songs on youtube... Vicarious riff reminds me of Frame by Frame riff bass played in slower tempo. You should check Lateralus album, priceless work.

  • Dude, listen to Industry and this song at the same time, heaven and Earth explodes

  • BEST BAND ON HEAVEN AND EARTH.

  • Ta buena la rolita

  • @derek4ur no he, s still in the picture but reformed to fripps ideals , lol, ... which I love, together they were a bad ass team, although I didnt like adrian belews earlier stuff like elephant talk , that album was off, but the construction on light forward is great ,

  • @derek4ur try fear of a blank planet by Porcupine tree

  • love to see blastic rhino and coda:I have a dream live , anybody? . . . .

  • @derek4ur no adrians kicking butt on his axe , following the great robert fripp,

  • @robmanic44 They may well never reach the heights that KC has, nor last as long, but Tool isn't lousy, either. You never know what they might accomplish. One has to hope that Tool and bands of their ilk will find their own voice and keep carrying the torch.
