Why apply the Fressia Glitter Stix if you're going to cover it with black liquid liner?

Not entirely sure, but I know that when I use liquid eyeliner, I apply stick eyeliner underneath so that the liquid eyeliner lasts longer than it would when applying it directly onto bare lids or shadow.
