Dear Friends,

Re: The Core of Adventism

Christian Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ.

I write to invite you to promote The Core of Adventism in your local Church. The programme is designed to help our members rediscover our essential doctrines, while not forgetting the Christ Centred elements of each doctrine.

This year the Core of Adventism will run slightly differently than in previous years. Previously only the Churches in London Area 6 expressed a desire to the LMC and the BUC to host the programme. This year the North England Conference Personal Ministries Department and the Irish Mission will also host their version of the Core of Adventism.

The format of the programme in The SEC will be a Bible Conference for Ministers, Elders and Bible Workers during the day from the 11th 13th May 10.30am - 3.30pm at the Stoke Newington Church. An evangelistic series for members will be held in the evening, from the 9th 16th May at 7.30pm nightly at three locations in the three districts of Area 6:

Tottenham West Green Road Church in 6A
Stoke Newington Church in 6C
Willesden Church in 6D

A special one day Bible Conference will be held for all members of Area 6A, C, and D on Sunday 10th May 10.30am - 8.30pm at the Tottenham Church 253-255 West Green Road, Tottenham, London N15 5ED.

The NEC dates will be Friday 15th May 7.30pm - 9.30pm at the Camp Hill Church Sparkbrook, Birmingham, West Midlands B12 0JP and on Sabbath 16th May 9.30am - 7.30pm at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall, North Street, Wolverhampton WV11RQ.
The Irish Mission will hold its meeting on the Sabbath only at the Dublin Church 47a Ranelagh Road, Ranelagh, Dublin Republic of Ireland.

The main presenters for the Bible Conference will be Dr Ganoune Diop, Dr Radisa Antic, Dr Gifford Rhamie, Dr Joseph Kidder and Dr Orlando Moncrieffe. Please display the enclosed poster on your notice boards.

The Core of Adventism is not limited to the entities organising the event. An invitation is extended to all who sense a need to understand the key issues facing our Church. Please come along and participate in the Core of Adventism.
