Braemar Window AC unit

Not sure if I should save this one, would take a lot of work to rebuild the bottom panel.

I'm thinking of making a condensate tube coming off the evaporator pan, and fixing the pan whit aluminum angle and silicone.

@MrTrainer1200 late 80's to 90's I think. it has a molded plastic base and generic rotary compressor.

When I get a little older, I might just get one of these! But until then, I can only dream, and watch these videos! I'd probably find plenty of these at the tip from people who are discarding the old nor' wester a/cs! They are absolutely NOISY, you can hear our corner neighbours one droning on a hot one!

@guitarsehole yeah that unit should have been dumped again, but it worked for a while after rebuild.

Iced Earth is one of my all time favorite metal bands!, truely epic album themes and guitar work!. I'll have to sit down and listen to more of your vids, I like it!.

I've always looked at these window units as just junk, thrown away a couple even. I might actually be able to get a nice, working Panasonic one back this week.

Unfortunately Braemar no longer makes air conditioners, just evap coolers- they are one of the largest builders of such equipment in the world.
