Summary: Cancer is affecting concerning numbers of children in the small, tight-knit community of Clyde, Ohio.
The OEPA has set up air monitors; sampled water in creeks, streams and drainages that go into the water system in Clyde; also looked at rural water in the area; sampled soil and investigated dump sites; and has looked at possibility of radiation in schools.
None of these tests shed light on why there is a cluster of children with cancer in Clyde.
Dina Pierce, media contact, OEPA: Thats about all we can do absent a suspected cause, which has not been identified.
I personally live close to Clyde Ohio and i find it very upsetting that they can't figure out what is going on and that is very frustrating for me. I think that this shows people what exactly is going on in Clyde Ohio.

City, State and Federal will not tell you if they do find a link.
The work has to be done by the citizens.
If they were to find the cause, whether if was in the water, air or land. Or even if it were caused by a company, They would not tell the people. Because "they" would be losing tax dollars caused from people moving away as well as lawsuits.
It's like asking a thief to investigate a crime that he has committed.
