Can I be the second cis-gendered person to like this? As someone who took in a friend after his parents told him to, "be a girl like you were meant to be or get out of our house," I understand your anger towards these people. But I also hope that you don't hate all cis-gendered people or harbor resentment toward all of us. We can be very supporting of the trans community.

*nod* I'm cis and those people get on my nerves. Granted, not to the extent that they piss you all off. But it bothers me. Especially when they bring religion into it. I can't stand when they use my Lord as a way to spread their hate. I'm fairly certain the Jesus I read about said to be humble and not judge other people.

Another analogy would be something like running around naked. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but completely frowned upon by almost every society on the planet. 2/3 of people would probably just turn away and not look at me, 1/4 would probably be staring in disbelief, and a small percentage would tell me to put some god damn clothes on. And maybe one in a million just wouldn't give a damn. You can't even blame people for that.

There is nothing intrinsically wrong with choosing to carve your own path and living in that shade of gray between a male and a female, but it should be absolutely expected that anytime you go against the grain, you are going to face a lot of social disapproval. If I decided to walk around with my hands and pick things up with my feet, I'm sure you would wonder why the hell I don't just make everything a whole lot easier and do it the other way around.
