Hey, I get it now, to release the parking brake just push up on the little metal lever the cable end fits into to release the parking brake, very simple...

I have a question ???? Parking brake release cable broke on my 2002 Silverado. The parkinf break is still pushed all the way down to the floorboard... How do you realse it to make it pop back up so I can put the new cale back on... Any feedback please let me know...
