This is by far my favorite Noel Pointer track. I still perform it, even today, though not with a violinist. I'll remember Noel and his music always in fond fashion. A neighbor of his (we lived on the same block in Brooklyn), I hope his voice continues to enrich and enlighten for years to come.

This was my absolute favorite back, well, in the day, as they say. I was doing some fusion but not at this level.

@raycurtfiddla my father used to take myself and twin brother into New York to watch him often. He was the greatest!

I was so pleased to find this. Noel was my friend and I played in his band for many years. I miss him so much. We had such great times together in the states and overseas.
Thank you

I saw him at Seventh Ave South on my birthday with my late brother. It was a great gift from my birthday and to see Noel on stage and live. He was awesome and this song reminds me of my brother who also died way too young. I have fond memories. Rest In Peace with the Lord Noel and my brother.

Beautiful! Rest in Peace Noel Pointer "/ Great upload Boswell!
Haunting the first time I heard it Thirty..um years ago. We, the "Bridgetower Quartet had the pleasure to perform with him at a Brooklyn fund raiser. He definitely captured the beauty of violin in his jazz flavorings.

My sister use to date him for a minute back in Music and Art High School. Dave Valentine (Flutist) attended at the same time and their HS Band was the bomb to say the least. I remember seeing the two of them due the theme of "It Takes a Thief" (TV program during the early 70's staring Robert Wagner) and it was unbelievable. Noel was very very expressive Violinist and it said he is no longer able to share any more however he did leave a wonderful legacy of music to enjoy...

Beautiful and haunting is right. He was one of my favorites from the early days of GRP. His talent and passion is missed...
