  • This is awesomely funny.

  • letterman should shut up he sounds like a baby!

  • People like to contrast todays situation with what went on during the Great Depression. One of the biggest factors that drug us out of the depression was the unrelenting American work-ethic of the time. During the Great Depression people were looking to their government for JOBS NOT HANDOUTS. People wanted to work and earn their way to the top. Not be given a little slice off the top in their mailbox that was TAKEN out of the pocket of a hardworking American.

  • and more importantly that no one should have to get screwed if they buy houses, cars, and boats they cannot afford. You hear it all the time on the radio/TV. "BAD CREDIT, NO CREDIT, NO PROBLEM!" That is the problem with America, people live way outside their means and think that somehow it will all work out. Kennedy said to ask what you can do for your country, not what your country can do for you.The first thing we can all do is stop spending more than we make. No more new car every 2-5 years.

  • Everyone will admit that the economy is in turmoil right now and that we need to pull ourselves out of it. You have liberals claiming that we to "spread the wealth around" and that the middle class is just crushed. I believe a fundamental problem is that everyone wants their country to do something for them. Like being successful is some sort of an innate right and that no one should be allowed to work hard and accumulate more wealth than the next guy. That is just not true.

  • Olberman should have stuck with Sports Center. I love it when entertainers, because of their popularity, think that it somehow means they can/should try to sway peoples political opinions. All they do it cast out people and tarnish their own names. All I know is that if I were an entertainer I would keep my mouth shut about politics or atleast not be openly 100% against one side. It's one thing to crack jokes it's another to use your position as a platform for one side. *CoughOprahLettermanCough*
