This movie was badass. I only saw it like late nights on tbs and shit bbaaaaaaack in the day. I always thought it was funny when black angel dude was in Hot Shots and Tim Taylor's brother on Home Improvement.

It Is a very thrilling movie which proves that a mind of a fighter pilot should be clear and honest to his country. also this crazy pilot has suffered so much mental crisis in society that he believes that the world is full of sinners and he should destroy it. but destroys himself from a sidewiner missile from his own instructor.
Love one another.so that no black angel shall come again. Weather civil or military.

The plot is similar to the (then) future John Woo`s BROKEN ARROW, but this is more sober and dark, with no super-heroic feats of today`s action movies. That´s the reason to explain the excelency of this underestimated movie!!!

true that almost ALL of the aircraft footage if from Iron Eagle 1 and 2, but ironically with the story, direction and acting this turned out to be a BETTER movie than both of them combined lol!

LOL, most of that fight scenes in the air and attack scenes ARE from Iron Eagle.
