Easily the most musical of all etudes!! :-) some of them are really boring.. such as 10/2 or 25/6, those can't really be called 'great music'...
I would love a tutorial on Ocean as well, it's such an inspiring work

@PaulBartonPiano No I hate it. It sends shivers down my spine and I have to stop in my tracks to listen whenever I hear it. ;-)
BTW, I like your version 1 better: a) the apocalypse of bars 45-46 is discernable from bar 30 and b) you take more time for the phrasing. My guess is that you were in a more emotional mood while recording take 1.
If and when you do a tutorial could you incorporate the way you would practice this, and why this could differ for a simple amateur doing this?

What a sound from that Yamaha upright - not even the biggest they make! I like the full precision of the fingerwork giving a throb and thrill to the arpeggios.

Yes, I have never heard a piano like that sounding like a grand piano. What's your secret? Is it connected to a pc with Quantum Leap Pianos installed on it?
Are you going to do a tutorial? Please?

@robmob12 -- yes, I've just written down some notes for it yesterday - do you like this piece?
