  • Some sending emails suggest Paul kept the feasts by twisting Scriptures. Yes, Paul attended such gatherings, but not to participate. The Bible never says this in any way shape or form. He went to public gatherings because he was an evangelist. He knew he could share the Gospel with many people there.

If I were to go to a large gathering of Catholics seeking to view the Pope, so as to hand out tracts about Antichrist, would you later claim I was Catholic? No? Then why claim Paul kept the feasts?

  • @NicholasPOGM

"When they asked him to stay a longer time with them, he did not consent, but took leave of them, saying, "I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing." Acts 18:20-21

Just like God's instruction to keep the Sabbath is valid, so also are His instructions for which holidays to keep ... HIS!

Paul was careful to instruct the Colossians not to let the world judge them in obeying God. Col 2:16

  • @Str8Talker365 Twisting the facts won't fool the elect. He needed to be at that feast because they didn't have Internet, TV or radio to preach to thousands. The apostle knew there would be thousands in Jerusalem for the feast. He took advantage of the great gathering to evangelize many into Christianity. Truth is, many Christians do this today as well. Homosexual parades for example gather many deceived souls. Christians go to evangelize them. Does this mean all Christians are homosexuals?

  • Amen! I have pages on my main site exposing Christmas, Easter, Valentines, and even Birthdays! (main site = RemnantofGod(DOT)org)

  • The 7th day sabbath was also instituted *before* sin, the ceremonial law and *its* days however came *after* sin and were pointing to the Redeemer and temporary established until the Cross, thus the weekly 7th sabbath day was never "a shadow of [good] things to come" (Col 2:17, Heb. 10:1) because it has always pointed to God as our Creator back when He made the earth in 7 days, while the shadows of the ceremonial law pointed only forward to the cross.

  • So be it!

  • Thankyou for this explaination. Another 7th-day keeping ministry recently suggested to keep the "New moon" & Luni-solar calender. This caused creat confusion to this Christian with training wheels still attached. You have explained it perfectly

  • Correction: 6 days

  • Great video.Another verse I like to use to confirm this is 1 Tim 5:7-8 "Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
