On my usual commute, I caught sight of this cyclist pulling a B.O.B trailer with a bright yellow Yak Sak in the back. Loaded with plenty of water bottles, one could recognize him for a long distance traveler.
He glances back a couple of times before I pass him, and the explanation is provided as he catches me at the next traffic light. He says "I thought you were my trailer riding away!" That would be a scary experience to have one's cargo pass you on the roadway.
I had to pull over for a phone call and was passed again, and he must have reached his hotel, as I did not see him on the rest of the trip. With the tailwind, he was doing 15 mph and at 25 mph, I should have caught him easily.
Tennessee Tourist, as he had a TN motor vehicle registration plate attached to the back of the trailer. If anyone recognizes him, let him know of this video.
I have a trailer for one of my bikes as well, except mine has 2 wheels. They can be useful if you are going to the shops. I also take mine when I go fishing sometimes.
