Places are only as meaningful as the stories and memories they're connected with. For many of us, we've never been to New York but have imagined and mythologised it for generations through the stories told on film and television. We intimately know it's street corners, firehydrants and brownstones - despite living millions of miles away.
This is an ode to those imaginings - a tribute to the city that doesn't really exist, but has been made by movies.
