What mystery woman? The one this song is about??
This song isn't about a woman, but in fact a man. James Murphy's therapist, who he was very close to. In saying that he "wishes they could talk about it, but there lies the problem", he is talking about the trouble he is going through dealing with his therapist's death. He wants to talk about it as it has a taken a significant toll on him, but to whom? It is something he would normally talk about with his therapist.
