Gender Revealing Cake Party

The gender-revealing party at the home of my stepdaughter and her husband
The day before, they went to get the Ultrasound results, but told the technician/doctor not to tell them the gender of the child, but to write it down, and place the information in a sealed envelope. They took the envelope to the baker, and told him or her to place either pink or blue icing between the layers of the cake, and to cover the outside with a neutral colour.
The gender of the baby is discovered by parents and guests, all at the same time.
