Due to an unforeseen last minute trip, my girlfriend had to hop on a plane today (with my new MacBook Air), so I only had about 3 hours with it. I therefore had to cancel my original plan for this video and improvise.

@TheMacAppleMac Hardly. I run Adobe CS5 (After Effect, Premiere, Photoshop) and Final Cut all my Air. Why would you think they require an optical drive? I have a 6 core MacPro loaded with thousands of dollars of pro apps (AutoCad, Avid, Logic) and have never needed to open the optical drive once. I would be interested to know your own experience and why you think physical media would be required to run any of these.
