@neutronuang The parallel connection is better because if one LED dies the rest will remain working, in serial entire circuit would be disabled. It still would do the same power draw but better to do it that way.

Sebenarnya bisa koq mengganti backlight tanpa harus ganti power supply, asalkan tegangan antara kabel PSU dengan kabel ke LED Strip Backlight-nya sama (beda +0.5/-0.5 volt masih bisa di tolerir) cuma agak jarang ada PSU LCD monitor yang seperti itu.

you do it in a parallel right? then it consume more current, better to do it on series of LED, especially on laptop LCD
