@Lousypenguin yeah, the 2 others, joao silva and greg marinovich, are in this video, marinovich was shot too (recovered) and silva's the one shouting orders, getting them in the truck and taking pics, a real pro if i ever saw one. ken and kevin carter were very close, kev had been there earlier that day but had an interview about the pulitzer he'd one and left that afternoon when everything looked quiet. he never forgave himself for not dying instead of ken.

these guys made me look up to photographers. funny thing is i had seen some of thier work before (like kevin carters famous photo from sudan) but never knew who they were, wouldn't have even known their names. . its sad that men like ken and kevin didn't survive the war, but their deaths go to prove that these men weren't immune, untouchable or untouched from what was going on around them.
Thanks for posting.

All my respect to these men. They are truly my idols as I want to walk in their footsteps and take up photojournalism. Hell I've already begun to.
Ken Oosterbroek didn't deserve this horrible fate.
Does anyone know when or if war photographer will be released in PAL? Right now they only have NTSC.

@madcatmotions Romantics like me and many others disagree with that.
Some of you are disrespectful wastes of life. What have any of you accomplished besides crapping in diapers and having mommy pay for your schooling? You are not one to judge the actions of someone who for all intents and purposes KNEW they would probably die someday doing the work they love to do. All of you are mice compared to this man.

if anyone is wondering, this is an excerpt from the film War Photographer. VERY much worth a watch.
