A Puget Sound and Pacfic local freight, switching in the street (Polk St?) in downtown Hoquiam WA, sometime during 2003.

Note that the engineer is running the 2 X GP20 locos with a radio-remote belly-pack, which was a total eye-opener! The train was also equipped with a green bay window caboose, presumably to protect it as it made the pushing (cabose first) move towards the location shown in the video. (The caboose would have given the lone engineer a great vantage point from which to "drive" the train with the radio-pack... :-) ).
For any Model Railroad or "MicroLayout" fans, this represents a prototype "Inglenook" switching puzzle, which could fit on a 1' X 4' or longer shelf.
FYI, http://www.carendt.com is a wealth of "Micro-Layout" inspiration, and well worth a look... :-)
The short conversation between one of my hosts and the engineer always brings a smile, and I would hope shows that there is still room for "enjoying your work" in the Pro/Prototype Railroad Industry... :-)
Apologies for the video quality. This was sourced by a pre-compressed version originally intended for emailing. If I can locate a higher res source version, I'll repost it...
@ctw100s Unfortunately I don't think I have any footage of the wigwag, I'll have to go back over the raw footage tapes to see for sure. I was being hosted by friends, and we caught the train as it crossed the river, ran north for a few blocks, then headed down the middle of Polk St as shown.
