Dumbass, what do you think companies are doing right now? They are shipping jobs overseas as paying people extremely low salaries increases the profit margins. Companies find many loopholes to get out of paying taxes they are supposed to pay. Warren Buffett is very rich himself, but he's a huge philanthropist as well and supports Democrats. Even Ben Steins supports UHC. Why should being rich only be limited to Republicans? Yes, but I'm a strong believer, and so are many other people, in practicing what you preach. If one is to propose, or support a subject adamantly, than one should make sure he or she exercises that belief regularly. Otherwise one's credibility is tarnished. For example, if you support communism, yet tweak the ideology in such a way that it no longer is communism, then you've really made no progress, have you?

No, that's not it at all. It's simply hypocritical to advocate more money for the less fortunate when at the same time you're amassing wild fortunes, buying up large acres of property, and living in a palace. Edwards is certainly no kind of philanthropist. Why couldn't chunks of his wealth go to the poor? Instead, he'd rather tax corporations who are already taxed enough, he'd rather tax the hard working more and he'd rather stifle small businesses with such a nightmare tax.
