You mean if you don't do anything technical, and aren't stupid, you won't get viruses.
-
No viruses for mac is because no one used macs in large numbers for a long time. Now that more people are using macs, viruses for them are slowly starting to come out of the woodwork.

114,000 useful pc applications? Not on a Mac.

ArcainneKing is a jackass. I bet he's had viruses and doesn't know it. Vista was only safe because it wasn't compatible with crap. Learning how to use a PC doesn't make you safe. Getting a Mac doesn't make you safe either, but it DOES make you safER! Just like switching to Linux makes you safER than Mac.

@IRONnTiTAN Your logic makes no sense dude. Saying a word like "guru" doesn't make someone unintelligent. You used it yourself. I've been studying computers for 3 years now. My dad for longer, and my brother for even longer.
But I stand by what I said. There is so such thing as "safe surfing". that's bull shit and you know it.
-
@Rifalltoo Your opinion is invalid you used the term guru which means you are stooooooopid. Intelligent people don't use the word guru because it makes them sound so unintelligent that I am confounded by having to choose between the term jackass or dumbass to describe people who use the term guru... (that means you) You clearly don't know anything about computer software or hardware, or you would not need to use a catch all term like guru. Inteligence dictates use of a technically specific term

@Carolyn9096 Not true. There are active viruses copying themselves onto anything they can, meaning even Youtube and Google are candidates for spreading Viruses. I've seen computer Gurus get viruses. So that "surfing safe" excuse is bull.

The only mac I like is mac and cheese. The only product that mac will make that WONT suck will be a fucking vacuum cleaner, and even then apple enthusiasts will say its better than a normal vacuum because it has a fucking apple logo on it

Not necessarily. , I'm a PC and I got 2 trojans for no reasons. Viruses just kinda happen, but if you have this magical product called anti-virus you should be fine. I'd rather spend a few hundred dollars on a PC and anti-virus then I would a few thousand with a mac.
Also, macs can get viruses they just aren't as common because there's a smaller range out there to go after.

I have in my dorkbox
i7 2600k @ 5ghz - the new intel sandy bridge
P67 sabertooth
8GB DDR3 corsair 1600mhz
OCZ vertex 2 SSD
GTX580
Fully watercooled pc with best compenents on the market
£1500 - Shits all over a MAC and has many many many more features and guess what?.. it can run crysis
the whole 'PCs get more viruses' thing is so stupid.
if you're not an idiot, your computer won't get viruses. end of story.

Mac users have suffered enough. No need to write a virus for them.
