@vidman293 If you want a fast game with good bosses, great powers, and chaotic action and amazing freedom - go for Prototype.
If you want a newer experience (basically just the electricity) and a good replay value - go for InFAMOUS.
Also, Prototype has some replay value as well, because you can start a new game with all the upgrades you got. Also, because of how much fun it is to create chaos, go free running, finish side quests, etc. you can keep playing it (as I did) long after the ending.

Prototype was linear, gory and very repetitive. Although the powers were AMAZING, it got boring. The ending sucked too. The story was solid but Alex was "an unlikeable wretch" .
inFamous 1 + 2 Had multiple endings, great graphics and great story(s). Powes based off of lightning, gravity, fire and ice. Cole was "A dynamic bike courier"

@shikamak Prototype was anything but linear.

@gamingeagle19 One ending, one path, one mundane story and one sucky ending. After i beat the game, i asked my sister "That was it?" The 1st few hours were fun and it pretty much felt like a skinny hulk with anger issues to match. Similar to Call of Duty it was all hype but no sense of accomplishment. Im sure people get happy when they see the little achievement/trophy pop up. That was the main highlight of the game, sorry Radical but Prototype is not going to do as well as inFamous 2 did.

@shikamak Linear means that you only have one path and one way to play. Shooters are typically linear. Prototype is open world, not linear.
