  • They didn't call him "The Great One" for nothing. I remember seeing John Belushi doing Gleason/Kramden on SNL. Belushi was always regarded as a high-energy performer, but when you compare them, Belushi looks like Perry Como next to Gleason.

NO one can touch this guy. 39 episodes and they're STILL as funny as ever. How sweet it is.

  • 5:28 until the end - fucking hilarious!!!!!

  • Well, the end really brings the story full circle. First Norton gets Ralph into this bad situation. Then when Ralph is safe he tells Norton: "Run downstairs and have Harvy come back up here. I'm ready for Harvey!"

Either Ralph was so confident of himself he didn't know to leave well enough alone, or he wanted some personal satifaction for all the anxiety he went through.

True Norton got him into the mess, but then Ralph asks Norton to start everything over again.

  • @mattleemattlee123 ......And how sweet it will be forever.

This year marks 25 years since Herbert John Gleason left this world for the angels.

  • @knight1768

    I couldn't agree more.

  • get a load of fatso there lol!

  • @5tonyvvvv For all of his 'dim-wittedness',He(Norton) could come up with a plan every now & then to bail his friend Ralph out of his predicament.

  • "Run downstairs and have Harvey come back up! I'm ready for Harvey!" LOL

  • My friend is sick in bed with a cold.

  • Has to be at least the 200 th time I watched this. Used to watch them every night for about 10 years in the 80s on chanel 11 in New York. I still remember the sun coming up the moring Gleason died and after having watched the honeymooners that night. I think the showed a bunch of them that night.

  • I don't know..maybe the phrase just fit's?

  • "water is thicker than blood"
