mccain/palin? really? if you wanna support real country music, don't support those idiots. they stand for the overpowering corporate model that keeps good music down. screw clear channel! screw the fcc! screw cmt!

this man rebel son burbonboys and hank 3 keep real music alaive unlike there pop country singers
-
thanx for posting! Dale's one of the greats who keeps real C/W music alive and kickin'!
-
@6stringgunslinger the same reason that hank III isnt.. bc all that mess on the radio, and on cmt is all written, licensed and produced in a 3 block radius in downtown nashville. it breeds these pop country "stars" that all look and sound the same. this guy rides off the beaten path like all the real country folks and outlaws. folks like dale watson, waylon jennings and hank III sorta go there own way. thats why they have a devout underground fan base.. its not made for the masses

Dale is awesome and Knuckleheads in KC is a kick ass honky tonk blues bar. What a combination.
-
@6stringgunslinger because he is good and not the eyecandy for teenybopper girls to go out buy cd and watch videos scream hell yeah is the main reason
-
Corporate Country Sucks . com is a safe haven for the Good Guys who can't be Bought or Sold.. check it out and F*ck em all... the FCC CMT The Fedral Goverment and ALL The Other Leaches who have sucked the Life out of what use to be Real Country Music that use to come from the Heart of Real Americans... Drive on Dale Watson

Dale is up there with the greats. He was just born at the wrong time.

Just saw Dale at the Broken Spoke in Austin. WoW!!! Played for three hours, no break. Absolutely amazing. Talked to him after the show, was very gracious and down to earth. The man doesn't realize how famous he is.

That's great, I love Dale. I also love the Broken Spoke. Its been quite a while since I lived in Austin, but got down to the Spoke back in September to see my old favorite Alvin Crow. Niel Flanz on steel that evening. Alvin is an Austin Institution.
