I always liked Edgar Alan Poe's works so it just seemed to jell with Alan Parsons' Dr. Tarr & Professor song. Another song and video I liked was Thomas Dolby's She Blinded Me With Science. All three just went together like a dream within a dream with a touch of H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos. I suggest you go view Dobly's and Parsons' original works here on You Tube. You wont be disappointed. This is the "unrestored antiqued" version and I will put on the "restored" version later -- enjoy, CoastConFan.

  • very cool, this song is amazing too....

  • The song is Dr Tarr and Professor Fether from Alan Parsons 1976 album, Tales of Mystery and Imagination, inspired by the works of Edgar Allen Poe. The song is about a madhouse taken over by the inmates. The video is the 1982 video and from the Thomas Dolby song, She Blinded Me With Science, where a man is treated by a quack in a madhouse, so you can see how I easily paired the two up. With a little editing, an antique finish, a Cthulhu reference and there you have it. Thanks.
