Today is a special day for Alfredo Di Stéfano. The Blonde Arrow turns 81, having become a symbol of Real Madrid, both at the Presidency, on the bench and, above all, on the pitch.

  • @ssng2191 Ah, but he's right to criticize Mourinho's strategy. It is, as Valdano once put it, shit hanging from a stick. It's cowardice not becoming of a team with Madrid's history.

What's so great about Di Stefano? He was only one of the central figures of one of the greatest club sides ever. He only won five consecutive European Cups and eight League titles. He only scored 216 goals in 282 league games.

What has Mourinho done for the club? Played humiliating and ultradefensive football.

  • @AUBERIRDISCH That's true, Real Madrid is not winning becasue they are not acting like they really are, if the act like the acted in the past they would be the best again, but they are playing ultradefensive in important games, Real never did that before Mourinho.

  • @GrizzlyX Man, times change but what they did was the greatest thing in football during the 20th century, that's the reason Real was named the best club in 20th century.

  • @Lurod9 You're absolutely rigth, i'm a die hard Real Madrid fan and these years are TERRIBLE for us, Real fans, it's so sad that bad people stole the club and many Real fans go with Mourinho and going against Di Stéfano and Valdano, the good ones for Real, i go with Alfredo, my hero, the greatest team player of all time, the greates Real player forever, and i hope dome day another player like him will come to Real and give back what Real Madrid deserves.

  • @Lurod9 ultradefensive??? are you crazy or what? you say ultradefensive when the real madrid is scoring 3.25 goals per mach?????

  • @Lurod9 Times have changed, and those once great players (who were players ahead of their time), would not shine in the same way today. Winning 5 champions league's in these times is impossible, let alone consecutive.... Mourinho does not play "ultra defensive", look at the stats. Or watch the matches. I agree he played defensive against Barcelona last year, but he would have been a fool to play differently because they were unstoppable. He's a smart coach, a winning coach.

  • @Lurod9 Real have spent around £400m in the last 3 years on top of a team that had won the elague, and still they cannot win and play like Bolton Wanderers.

  • Today is his birthday!

  • @Lurod9 True. Madrid have spent £300 m on players in the last 3 years and in their biggest match try to get a 0 vs 0 draw.

  • @ssng2191 Di Stefano, one of the best football players of all times, happens to know a "little" more of football than Mourinho, and he was right in criticize the portuguese strategy, because it betrayal RM history... Mourinho had a great squad this season, even though in the important matches he forgot about football and order his player to play dirty, lame defensive football, making this season Team one of the worst of the club history...

  • @ssng2191 Oh-my-God, I just can't believe what I've just read... are you for real?? I mean, I know you're not trolling, because trolls tend to comment on viral videos, so you must be serious,,, In that case, you must have a mental disorder, is the only explanation i can find for your "gay" comment ...
