@MrMidnightSoldier its about how lex is envious of clarks life, his family, his relationship with his father, his relationship with lana, and he wishes that his life can be like clark, and wants to stay friends with him, and on the other side its about how clark wishes him and lex were still friends and he didnt want to give up on him or there freindship, no matter how many times lex lied and hid things from clark he still didnt want to loose the friendship they had.

@MrMidnightSoldier Here's what Kate Bush, who wrote this song in 1982, had to say about it: "I was trying to say that, really, a man and a woman, can't understand each other because we are a man and a woman. And if we could actually swap each other's roles, if we could actually be in each other's place for a while, I think we'd both be very surprised. And I think it would lead to a greater understanding."
