@EmCSpiteri1 He sure did any number of times. The best example when they came to arrest him prior to the cross. He was all good all just and right. They were all evil and all incorrect. The Soldiers were all pushed and held against the ground. Christ could have killed them with just a thought. Yet he allowed them to get up and take him. No mistaking that message. John 18 6 When he said I AM.

Gosh Jer you sure opened a can of worms here but I think that you hit the nail firmly on the head with your statement that everyone knows in their head what is right and wrong and there is no need for religions to remind us of that. My only religious teaching as a child told me that there were 10 commandments has someone added another? Maybe the one that I obviously don't know will be the one that will save me.

Strange how most Churches say Christ was God. But fail to ever mention this 11th Commandment that he gave to the Church after the Death on the Cross

cont'd, my cousin's mother & sister stopped having anything to do with my family because they've all accepted me as a gay man and my sister as a lesbian, only my father's brother, my closeted cousin's father, will still have anything to do with our family anymore. With such so-called "Christians" for family, who would cut my entire family out of their lives for accepting me and my sister, is it any wonder my lesbian cousin remains closeted? sorry for going on so long today, I do that sometimes.

@rich1299yt John 14 31 kind of tells us how to spot the true Christians.If I find a Church that does that maybe I would go there. Maybe they would have food and friendship. But when the people you Love the most do not like you. It is kind of lacking to think a stranger really would like you. Thanks for your thoughts. Peace and Good Jer

Sorry to hear that the relationship ran into a rough edge, but it seems like he chose a different road, and he's not likely to change. And you know that.

Warrants... An ugly secret that should remain secret, and it sounds like you're paying dearly for one while JUST trying to help the victim. Justice? In this country? It's a lost concept...

It amazes me how people tell strangers things that they shouldn't. Every time I go on the bus there allways seems to be at least one person on the bus who is telling someone on the bus that they have been to jail or prison. I think they shouldn't be telling people on the bus things like this. I think many Christians are hipocritical but the quakers seem to be genuine.

@k6tpl I think I understand Jer, I have a now 20 year old young woman who I still love very much, she was the closest I came to having my own child, I helped raise her and she used to love me very much, but for the past 3-4 years she just doesn't even like me anymore. It hurts so much when someone you love like your own child doesn't even like you any more. I found that I had to harden my heart since the pain was too great to bear but I still love her, how could I not? Take care of yourself Jer
