Modified iHome2Go iPod/MP3 speakers

This is an iHome2Go ipod/MP3 player speaker model number iH13B, i have modified this unit because the original circuits burned out the original circuits used in this unit used too many electronic digital parts like digital on off switches and digital volume controls, and this thing ate batteries like crazy and when the batteries were low it would cut out and it was annoying so i took the guts out of one of those mini cube ipod speakers like the ones seen in my radio music on ipods video, in fact the ipod speakers seen in that vid were the exact same ones that i took the amp out, and this modified version works much better now no cutting out and its better on batteries, check it out, please leave comments ratings yada you know the drill enjoy the vid.

well it was when the original circuits decided to mess up. I resurrected this thing and now it works great. and BTW I have an iPod video and an ipod touch on the way.

Is it possible to mod a zune wire on to this and still get a charge and use the front buttons as you would a ipod.

no the charging parts and the buttons have been removed b/c the original amp burned out and the buttons have been disabled but i left them on for looks and they dont work but the power LED does work. you can only play your ipod or other mp3 player or any audio device on it but not control or charge your player. any more questions?

not on this rig I removed that ability b/c it used the internal amp which I also removed. I removed everything in this thing except the speakers the battery and the buttons (left for looks only) the battery compartment and the input jacks but i removed all of the digital crap they stuck inside and put in the guts of another ipod speaker and the battery life on this thing lasts forever now

the speakers on this thing were i think 3 ohms or something, but that doesnt really matter this thing works great so im not complainin

nice! you can check the ohms on speaker with a multimeter to be sure.
