November 25th marks the 10th anniversary of the UN's Day to eliminate violence against women. In Pakistan, some 70% of women claim to have experienced physical or sexual violence from men. Todays Focus takes a closer look at this worrying trend.
What a sick society. The men are pigs, women just property, at the mercy of those macho pigs .I'm glad I wasn't born a woman of any race or color in this perverted world. Or a young boy in Pakistan. Sick perverts, pedophiles, a whole nation of them.
I agreed, women was beaten all over the world. But only in South Asia and ME did this practice was acceptable in the general society. Honor punishment, even my ass is more honorable than this.
and it can't be for something stupid like forgetting to leave the toilet seat up.
you as a feminist (if you are) may disagree and believe that a woman should have to face NO beating what so ever, but i'm also a woman. And i see this particular teaching somewhat understandable. it may seem unfair, but i honestly think these rules are put into place for a reason.

@6KiiDZ under these conditions:
LIGHT beating,
as a LAST RESORT,
its no different to punishing a child.
and it can't be for something stupid like forgetting to leave the toilet seat up.
