@11jackinthebox you can use the smudge brush to blend colors like that, but you have to turn on the scattering for the brush (around 30% is good) as for Illustrator, I hate the way you edit the nodes in it, its just so tedious and time consuming. Inkscape is much more pleasant in that respect, but it crashes all the time, Xara Designer is fast, stable and editing the nodes is fun like in Inkscape, but Xara doesen't have all the cool features Inkscape has :(
Josh! I just have such a hard time believing this is Photoshop!!! I've been creating artwork with Photoshop, and some of the things you did in this video doesn't seem to be something available in Photoshop. Like the blending of the colors: it didn't look like you used the smudge tool at all! It's like they automatically smudged into each other! Do you have any opinion on Illustrator? Would that be a worthy investment? Great job! You're an inspiration!
