stihl MS 361C professional chainsaw

nothing pro about this video, just some footage of us cutting up a log. yes, i know it's dull. don't "drop start" your chainsaw as seen in the photo, put your foot on the handle and secure it flat on the ground to start it. ALWAYS use the chain brake when starting and walking. stihl chainsaws are very high quality and definitely worth the price. the 361C has a chain brake and vibration isolation which is a nice feature.

Interesting stance. From the angle in this video it looks like the saw would take you in the neck if it kicked back. The chain brake is useless the way you are holding the saw. Maybe a little training would be a good thing? PPE baby!!

Not where he is cutting, the cut piece will want to drop down so you would actually pinch the bar cutting like you described.
