Hardly. The media and organized religion which has always been run by homosexuals is what caused the perceived grievances in the first place. The illusion of being hated makes it easier to find people to participate, just as the myths of persecution and the holocaust help Jews to rationalize their evil deeds, but that's not the root of the problem. There is no "gay conspiracy". It is the nature of evil. Remember that homosexuality and sodomy are unrelated.
