A Little Too Not Over You Ch. 2

Saturday morning. I was sitting in the living room, drinking a cup of coffee and reading the news paper, as most father do in the mornings. Amanda's in the shower, and Im surprised Lilly isn't-
"Good morning Daddy," Lilly said, sitting down next to me.
"Oh, hey sweet pea," I said, "I didn't see you there."
Lilly giggled. "Not everyone can be as tall as you Daddy!"
"Oh come on, I'm not THAT tall!"
Lilly giggled again. "Your right. Uncie Nick is MUCH taller than you!"
I gasped. "Ok, NOW youre in for it!" I pushed her down on the couch gently, and tickled her.
She laughed hysterically. "D...D... Daddy! Stop!"
"Say it!"
"S... Say... What!?"
"You know what! Now say it!"
"Ok! OK!" She said through fits of giggling, "Your the coowest ((coolest)), bestest, most awsomest daddy in the worwd ((world))!"
"Thank you," I said, finally stopping.
She giggled for a few seconds, and then sat up. She hit me on the arm. "That wasn't nice!"
I smiled slyly. "Who ever said I was nice?"
Lilly stuck her tongue out at me.
I laughed. "Ok princess, what do you want for breakfast?"
She shrugged. "I don't know."
"Well if you don't know, how am I supposed to know?"
She shrugged again. "I don't know."
"We're getting nowhere with this."
Before she could reply, the doorbell rang. I got up to answer it, with Lilly fallowing at my heels. I was surprised to see my brothers standing in the doorway, each of them holding a large box.
"Oh, hey guys," I said, stepping aside to let them in, "What's in the boxes?"
Before they could answer, Lilly jumped up. "Uncie Nick! Uncie Kevin!" She rushed at them.
I stopped her. "Let them put down the boxes first. We don't want them to drop it on anyones toes."
"Thanks dude," Nick said, as they both set down the heavy looking boxes.
Kevin scooped up my daughter the moment the box was out of his hands. "And how's my favorite niece this morning?"
Lilly giggled. "Uncie Kevin, I'm your onwy niece!"
"Well I guess that means you HAVE to be my favorite, doesnt it?" Kevin kissed her on the top of the head before putting her down.
She ran up, and hugged Nick's leg. "I missed you Uncie Nick!"
Nick smiled, and picked her up. "I missed you too sweetheart."
Kevin laughed. "Nick, what did you do to make you her favorite?"
Nick shrugged, putting Lilly down after giving her a kiss on the head as well. "No clue. And besides, I'm not her favorite, Frankie is."
"Yeah, but that's just cuse he's the closest to her age," Kevin said, "That doesnt count."
"Stop being siwwy. ((silly)) I don't have a favwite!" Lilly interrupted.
I laughed. "How would the standing on that change if I was on the ballad?"
Lilly giggled, and held her arms up, showing she wanted me to pick her up. I did, and she kissed me on the cheek, hugging me. "Of course I wove you the most! Youre my Daddy!"
I smiled, and kissed her on the forehead. "I love you too pumpkin."
"Awwwwwwww!" Nick and Kevin said at the same time.
I rolled my eyes. "Shut up."
Lilly gasped. "Ooooooooooooo! Daddy said a bad word!"
Nick and Kevin burst out laughing.
"Nice going 'Daddy'," Nick said through fits of laughter, putting air quotes around the word 'daddy', "You just poisoned the mind of an innocent 2 year old! You win father of the year."
I put my hands over Lilly's ears. "I'm only going to say this one more time: Shut the hell up!"
