I personally love the Hailun Piano... both as a technician (RPT) and a performer. I might be a bit picky, and can certainly tell the difference in tone and sustain from other pianos.. but it might help to have it tuned a bit better. The unisons are a bit off which does effect the overtones and sustain. (I know floor tunings aren't as frequent as I am sure you know).
We bought the 5-10 Grand about a year ago. We like it and record youtube videos with it. If you are looking to buy, type tiffanyanne music in the search box. We recorded with it for "Falling Slowly" and "Mad World". The bass is really good.
The Hailun piano is by far the most surprisingly wonderful piano I've played in years. As a piano tuner and musician, it would be difficult to find better quality piano for the money.
Ha! Cool. This is in Dayton! I've actually been to this store looking at a brown colored Hailun baby grand. The salesman is very knoweledgable and friendly. And the piano is an absolute work of genius and art! Thanks for posting!

I cringed when the gentleman set the music stand against the side of the shiny black lacquer piano.

I also love their uprights.

I would be curious to know if the Chinese reputation has been getting any better?
