I ran into my friend "Handy Andy" Pafko in his home town of Boyceville WI last summer. He makes the pilgrimage each year to visit friends and the old homestead which is North of Boyceville several miles. He was called the "Kid From Boyceville" and as a Milwaukee Brave "Handy Andy". Andy had a great major league career with the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, and Milwaukee Braves... winning a World Series Ring in 1957. His professional career started in Eau Claire WI playing for the Northern League Eau Claire Bears. He graced me by singing Take Me Out To The Ball Game, which he does periodically at Wrigley Field. Andy is a gentleman and a great ambassador for the game of baseball.

Funny Pafko Story- I mailed him a '52 Topps card (i was hesitant) and Mr. Pafko signed it and also put a huge crease in it! It was in EX-MT condition when I sent it. Oh well, I guess I would still rather have it signed and creased then nothing at all
