everyone seems to forget that Derren is reading the wedding day memories too. I love this video because it seems so simple yet so much is going on and it tells a wonderful little mini story. It's put together quite brilliantly. That's the real genious of D.B., how he orchestrates the effects visually.

So this trick is really quite easy in theory. He distracts him with the conversation while he uses his unconsicious muscle resistance when Derren pushes him in the right direction.. Quite ingenious! :)

People probably tomb-down you cuss your comment seems to suggests that derren claims to be psychic.
In any case. Darren has never claimed to be psychic or anything like that. He just reads body language and understand the workings of the unconscious of others.

Man, my question was to make other stop fighting about if derren is or is not a mindfreak. So if he and other (psycho-something special suppose to be) can do what they claim, i said that they should help the police to solve crimes and find missing children and people. now why the fuck others rated me as -7.. i dunno. anyways... thanks for commeting. i entern my acc here once a month and i m really tired of all of this. thanks.

He explains this sort of thing in his book- it's all to do with ideomotor movement, the unconscious slackening of resistance when pushed in the right direction. Being as indescribably awesome as he is, Derren has practiced a lot to become a master of interpreting this sort of thing.
