A couple of years ago I uploaded a video of the "Over the Moon" end credits theme from E.T. People have been asking for more so here is the whole version of Adventures On Earth (plus the end credits theme), arranged for piano. There's some strings and stuff here but the piano piece is playable by one pianist.

It is midi edited so it sounds more perfect than it does when I play it, and you might see some wrong keys even though you hear the right note.

And don't ask me for the sheet music. Well you can ask if you want, but I don't have it. And if I did have it, there's no way I would give it away for free ... :)

  • Hey, really great job! This is something I want to learn how to play purely for compositional analysis. I mean I don't know how these composition things go, differs from p2p, merely that it seems like quite an important piece in my thinking about writing more on the piano for initial scoring. I wish I could see you play all the bits instead of the movie clips, and maybe follow it as I learn since I've always played by ear and wasn't professionally trained. Were you? Thanks for showing this!

  • @Rkmajora If you can read notes, and you want to use the piece for compositional analysis, I suggest using the full orchestral score. That's what I did to create this piece, and if you look at it you will probably see how I am condensing the parts together for the piano. If you can't read notes, it would be very hard for me to show you everything I'm playing, even without the movie clips. I am professionally trained somewhat, but the piece is difficult even for me, and....

  • ....I made plenty of mistakes and used MIDI to cover them up. I would have to slow it way down to make a tutorial possible.

  • Impressive work - though I would have forgone the slideshow for continuous video of your playing (now that you've turned the lights on).

  • @BB0901 thanks... yeah well I wanted to use video clips from ET but I didn't feel like buying a DVD or paying for one of those long term memberships so I could download it. And iTunes doesn't have it either.

  • @musicforyourbody Oh I definitely figured I'd follow the sheet music, and thanks for the recommendation. I was merely thinking about all the best finger positionings I wouldn't know anything about, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. Thanks!
