how long is the "boiling part"?

@jasfer09 as it is in the boiling water it will change color from pink to whiteish pink

(i know that sounds weird but the color does change just a little) but that mask was

in the pot for about 15min. but i wouldn't put anything in for more than 20min.

I Have A Question

Every Time I Make A Clay Mask When It Finally Starts To Harden Cause I Got The Air Dry

It Starts Cracking

Please Help Me

The thing is when clay hardens it shrinks this can cause cracking. what you can do is wait for it to crack and then fill the cracks in with more clay. not add a whole new layer of clay just fill in the cracks and smooth it over. also you might be making the clay to thin make it thicker and it won't crack as easily because it wont be as fragile.

Since you didn't take pictures of it, how did you get the clay on after putting the foil? Did you roll out a big piece and kind of push it on, or did you put it on in pieces and smooth it over?
