I remember when I was 6 my great gram use to always sing this...now 12 years later me being 18 and her 90 when I drive her around I play this song and she loves it(its our song lol)
an ok version, being irish its sometimes horrifying listening to these type of covers but its nice to see trad survive across the pond in a way, plus the original of this song is my all time favourite song, i still have my grandad's version of it on vinyl, its basically like the prodigal son from the bible, excellent pub song, greetings from a celt living in scandanavia.
Just fancy, a debate with ( I can only guess) someone with a tank full of opinions but totally bereft of facts and knowledge. I like you in spite of your idiocy. The present generation of Celts, including the Black Irish with their history going back to the days of the Armarda, have nothing in common with the American Irish diaspora. Regards to yourself paddy0909. I genuinely wish you all the very best.

Thanks for pointing that out, as opposed to "UP THE RA" or Anti American or hardline American semitism
