Putting my 1984 300SD with 350,000 miles through the paces on Sunday 10/12/08 with the Greater Washington Section of the Mercedes Benz Club of America at autocross #7 in Winchester Va.

My other half had an '83 300SD since new. I thought it was hilarious and shameful when I took the Prius (and took 1st in H Stock). It is fun to see someone making the old bird move like that! I remember driving down the road at an angle when the turbo came on in snow. This brought back some fun memories.

@RacerCub68 this car is still autocrossed by its new owner, although now with H&R springs and HD shocks on it. Another friend just picked up an 85 SD and will be bringing it out regularly starting next weekend!
