Strong Gusts from the left. It was by far the gustiest crosswind situation I've ever landed in. Unfortunately the camera ran out of battery before I got in any others. But this one looks pretty fun anyway! and it was...

  • @jb244311 It appears to have a shoulder harness for the right seat...

  • did you mount the camera on the rear windshield?

  • @strat6969 or i could just get for real? whats the point of that fsx thing? its nothing like real flying. plus how impressive is an instrument rating... on a simulator at home.

  • Nice.

  • strat6969...older planes didnt have shoulder harnesses... where ya been? how about that FSX? lol

  • @Woop11Dang if you were getting an ATPL you would know how to spell "license" correctly. Go play flight simulator, and come back when you have an instrument rating.

  • no shoulder harness? ;)

  • @Woop11Dang Woop is right. Sometimes it's okay to land in crosswind with flaps. Unless however, the crosswinds are to strong. Then landing without flaps is okay as long as you do not overspeed. If you look at the famous Kai Tak B747 crosswind landing they used flaps.

  • @cCcTuraniacCc And another thing, for someone who is about to go atpl, why are you commenting on petty student issues. Shouldnt you focus on planes a little bigger than a cessna garmin 1000?

And please dont say you shouldnt use any flaps in a 737 for a 10 knot crosswind.

Unless wat ever highly regarded flying school you trained at says otherwise.

Oh and licence is the correct spelling, but i shouldnt have to tell you, a highly regarded, almost atpl standard pilot like yourself.
