His right hand is in his pocket writing on a piece of paper the number and word. He is probably right handed. The wallet has a rear opening where the note can be slipped in. He picked up wallet with his left hand and passed it to the right hand where he slipped the folder paper into it through the back door. His excuse about the poor handwriting while driving is a cover up for writing it inside his pocket. No one is allowed to examine the wallet.

I think I get this one also. Of course I've thought that before wit tricks and been completely wrong. There are actually a few details that could have been done several ways.
